I wanted to show you the sketches that preceded the runway outfits. Of course, I did it all myself, from sketch to pattern making to sewing.

My first fair

One from the ReArt fair in Osijek back in June. Fun!

The name of my little bag biz is Sharena, which means "colorful" in Croatian. I put together my love for handmade, colors and upcycling, and there they are! :D

Crochet cover from wool remnants

Turns out there was one more post from years ago waiting to be published.
The couch cover.
I've left it back at the house because the couch looked much better covered. :) Since then I've crocheted a new one, also from remnants.


My dearest grandmother used to knit socks. Unfortunately she cannot do it any more and what is worse I, sadly, never learned to do so.

I think it was a year and a half ago that she asked me if I wanted to use her wool remnants to make something. I took them and last winter crocheted this bed cover, now used as a a couch cover.

I'm so grateful she taught me how to crochet. :-)

The last four years

I am so happy and grateful right now. It has been very difficult for some time, but I decided it was going to change. Everything had to change.

So, in several words - I moved my whole life three times, got a couple of new diplomas, learned a lot, left one and after a couple of years met the most wonderful man ever, lost a lot of weight (as it happens) and got it back along with much happiness. Now I have NOTHING to wear! How about that? 😄

Oh, and by the end of last year I opened a little crafty business. I make handbags while I get ready to start a clothing line.
